Iban, the largest ethnic group in Sarawak are known for their traditional settlements located in the river valleys. Intricately-built longhouses are compartmentalised into individual units. Other ethnic groups here are the Bidayuh, Melanau and Orang Ulu, all of whom have their own cultures and celebrations.
