Dr. Barkeh Jumaat
General Info

Short Introduction
Dr. Barkeh graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya and completed her post graduate studies in ophthalmology from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia.
She was awarded Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Master in Medicine (Ophthalmology) from the National University of Singapore in 2001.
Dr. Barkeh's clinical skills were further fine tuned when she was awarded a double fellowship in 2002 for one year in Melbourne, Australia. These were Fellow of the Centre for Eye Research
Australia (CERA), tenured at The University of Melbourne, and Senior Fellow in the Vitreo Retinal and Medical Retina Units, tenured at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
Currently, Dr. Barkeh is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon at the International Specialist Eye Centre and Retina Associates, Kuala Lumpur. She is also a Visiting Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Hospital PUSRAWI, Honorary Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia and Visiting Consultant Vitreoretinal Surgeon at the Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.
