Sarawak, the largest state in Malaysia located on Borneo Island is also a popular tourist destination. Sarawak also houses a UNESCO World Heritage site – the Mulu Caves, the world’s most extensive cave system so far discovered.

Kota Kinabalu (KK) the capital of Sabah is a famous destination for nature and adventure lovers the world over. The gateway to exploring much of Borneo’s natural treasures such as Mount Kinabalu and Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, KK has a world class sailing marina, championship golf courses, holiday resorts and also good hotels for the budget traveler. The food is varied in a way that only a state with 30 ethnic groups can offer. Gourmet meals are available in restaurants but you will also find wonderful tastes and textures in a bowl in a hawker’s stall at the night market.

Lake Kenyir, the largest lake in Malaysia serves as another gateway to National Park (Taman Negara).
